Looking for a play in Internet stocks? Analysts and investment banks contributing research to Multex.com have identified the most followed companies this week among The Internet Analyst's universe of 100 stocks:

An Oregon court ruling on June 4 that said AT&T Corp. (T) must open access to its cable system, potentially allowing America Online Inc. (AOL) access to AT&T's customers in that state, prompted BancBoston Robertson Stephens to reiterate its STRONG BUY rating on American Online. Even though AT&T is expected to appeal the ruling, the brokerage considers it a positive development for America Online. The perception of the current battle between the two giants is that there will be a winner and a loser, the analysts report; however, AOL and AT&T may end up partnering on broadband service, and both companies would win. The brokerage forecasts that America Online will post earnings of $0.32 per share for 1999 and $0.53 per share for 2000. For 2Q99, it forecasts earnings of $0.08 per share, and earnings of $0.09 per share for 3Q99.
