FEUP Dramatically Improves Performance with Check Point Technology

The Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto in Portugal needed to increase its Internet bandwidth while simultaneously maintaining or even enhancing its security. Check Point deployed ClusterXL and SecureXL with good results but when it implemented CoreXL, a new technology integrated with the immensely popular VPN-1 Power security gateway, processing power was significantly enhanced.
