Vulnerability Description
An integer overflow vulnerability has been discovered in the way that GDI+ handles integer calculations. GDI+ is a graphics device interface that provides two-dimensional vector graphics, imaging, and typography to applications and programmers. The vulnerability could be triggered if a user opens a specially crafted EMF image file. An EMF image is a 32-bit format that can contain both vector information and bitmap information. A remote attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could take complete control of an affected system.
