Vulnerability Description A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in IBM Rational ClearQuest.
Vulnerability DetailsThe vulnerability is due to improper use of a certain method resulting in corrupt pointers. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by enticing a target user to view specially crafted web page using Internet Explorer. Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code, in the security context of the logged on user.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the IBM Rational ClearQuest CQOle ActiveX Code Execution protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
