Vulnerability Description A security bypass vulnerability has been reported in Digium Asterisk.
Vulnerability DetailsThe vulnerability is due to an error in the way the server validates permissions while executing shell commands from unauthorized users. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending specially crafted AMI requests to the target. Successful exploitation could result in attacker-controlled script or shell command execution in the context of the target server.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Digium Asterisk Manager User Shell Command Execution protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
