Who is Vulnerable? Apache Software Foundation Struts 2 prior to 2.2.3.1
Vulnerability Description A script injection vulnerability has been reported in Apache Struts 2.
Vulnerability DetailsThe vulnerability is due to an error in the way HTTP request parameters are interpreted as OGNL expressions when conversion errors occur. A remote attacker may exploit this issue by sending a malformed HTTP request to an affected Strut 2 application. Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary OGNL expressions in the security context of the web application server.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Apache Struts 2 ConversionErrorInterceptor OGNL Script Injection protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
