Who is Vulnerable? SonicWALL GMS 6.0.6017
Vulnerability Description An arbitrary file upload vulnerability has been reported in SonicWALL GMS 6.
Vulnerability DetailsThe vulnerability is due to authentication bypass in the Web Administration interface. A remote attacker could trigger this flaw by sending a malicious request to the target server. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow the attacker to upload arbitrary files to the vulnerable system.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

Security Gateway R75 / R71 / R70

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Dell SonicWALL GMS Arbitrary File Upload protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
