Who is Vulnerable?	IBM IBM SPSS SamplePower 3.0
Vulnerability Description	A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in IBM SPSS SamplePower.
Vulnerability Details	The vulnerability is due to a lack of boundary checking on the user-supplied ComboList or ColComboList property value in the Vsflex7I ActiveX control. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by enticing a user to visit a malicious website. Successful exploitation could allow arbitrary code execution in the context of the target user.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

Security Gateway R75 / R71 / R70

In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the IBM SPSS SamplePower Vsflex7l ActiveX Control Buffer Overflow protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
Install policy on all modules.
