Who is Vulnerable? PineApp Mail-SeCure 3.70 and prior
Vulnerability Description A command injection vulnerability exists in PineApp Mail-SeCure.
Vulnerability DetailsThe vulnerability is due to lack of sanitation on the iptestparameter in test_li_connection.php of the administration web interface. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted request to the vulnerable server. Successful exploitation could result in commands being executed with the privileges of the rootuser.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the PineApp Mail-SeCure test_li_connection.php Command Injection protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
