Vulnerability Description A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Adobe Reader and Acrobat.

Vulnerability DetailsThe vulnerability is due to an image parsing input validation error in Adobe Reader and Acrobat when parsing an external texture file in BMP, IFF, RGBA, PSD formats. A remote attacker could trigger this issue via a specially crafted file. Successful exploitation may cause denial of service and allow arbitrary code execution.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Adobe Acrobat Reader U3D Texture External File Buffer Overflow (APSB11-03) protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
