Who is Vulnerable? McAfee Web Reporter 5.2.1
Vulnerability Description A code execution vulnerability has been reported in McAfee Web Reporter.
Vulnerability DetailsThe vulnerability is due to a misconfiguration error when handling certain HTTP requests containing marshalled Java objects. A remote unauthenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on McAfee Web Reporter with a vulnerable version of JBoss. Successful exploitation could result in arbitrary code being executed in the context of the vulnerable application.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the McAfee Web Reporter JBoss EJBInvokerServlet Marshalled Object Code Execution protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
