Who is Vulnerable? vTigerCRM v5.4.0
Vulnerability Description A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in VTiger CRM.The vulnerability is due to lack of validation of file types uploaded to the server throught the AddEmailAttachment SOAP service. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability to access the script remotely and have it run the arbitrary PHP code.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

Security Gateway R75 / R71 / R70

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the vTiger CRM SOAP AddEmailAttachment Arbitrary File Upload protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
