Vulnerability Details The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of specially crafted file names by the Microsoft Server Message Block (SMB) Protocol. A remote attacker could exploit this flaw via a specially crafted SMB Request. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code on the target system. |
Protection Overview
