Vulnerability Details The vulnerability is due to an error in the code responsible for parsing Office Art Property Tables that allows an attacker to control a memory pointer with values read directly from the file. An attacker can exploit this flaw to execute arbitrary code on a vulnerable system via a malicious Excel file. |
Protection Overview
This protection will detect and block the transferring of malicious Office Excel files over HTTP.
