Vulnerability Details The vulnerability is due to the way IIS parses specially crafted URLs. An attacker may exploit this issue by via a specially crafted URL to bypass directory based basic authentication. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability would allow the attacker to access and execute resources that should require authentication. |
Protection Overview
This protection will detect and block malformed URLs attempting to exploit this vulnerability.
