| Vulnerability Description A stack buffer overflow exists in IBM Informix Dynamic Server Database. Informix is a family of relational database management system (RDBMS) products by IBM. IBM Informix Dynamic Server is an online transaction processing data server. A remote attacker may exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on a vulnerable system. |

Vulnerability Details The vulnerability is caused by an insufficient bounds checking on user-supplied data provided to the DBINFO function as part of an SQL query. A remote attacker could overflow the stack buffer allowing execution of arbitrary code on an affected system. |
