| Vulnerability Description A code execution vulnerability has been reported in Adobe Flash Player and the "authplay.dll" file that ships with Adobe Reader and Acrobat products. The Adobe Flash Player is a multimedia and application player that renders Shockwave Flash (SWF) files. A remote attacker may exploit this vulnerability to take complete control of the affected system. |

Vulnerability Details The vulnerability is due to the authplay.dll component that ships with Adobe Reader and Acrobat 9.x. A remote attacker might exploit this issue by convincing a victim to open a specially crafted PDF file that contains SWF content. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system. |
