Vulnerability Description
A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop server.
Vulnerability Details
The vulnerability is due to an error in the way the application processes invalid URIs. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a malicious packet to the target service. Successful exploitation could result in arbitrary code execution, in the security context of the affected service account.

Protection Overview
This protection will detect and block the transferring of specially crafted HTTP POST requests to the server.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

To configure the defense, select your product from the list below and follow the related protection steps.

How Can I Protect My Network?
1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop XML Service Interface Code Execution protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
2. Install policy on all modules.
