Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway 2010 Client
Vulnerability Description
A memory corruption vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG) Firewall client. Remote attackers can exploit this vulnerability by enticing unsuspecting users to open a specially crafted web page or view a malicious email message. By doing so, an attacker could leverage a client computer to make specific requests that could cause memory corruption on an affected system. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may enable an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the security context of the logged in user.

Vulnerability Details
This is a memory corruption vulnerability. The vulnerability is due to an error in the way the application performs bounds checking of specific requests. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may enable an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the security context of the logged in user. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights.

1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Microsoft Forefront TMG Memory Corruption Remote Code Execution (MS11-040) protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
2. Install policy on all modules.
