| Vulnerability Description A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Apple QuickTime. |

Vulnerability Details The vulnerability is due to a signedness error when processing a specially crafted QTVR string. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by enticing a victim to open a specially crafted QuickTime VR file with the affected software. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the security context of the logged-on user. |
