SafeNet Privilege SCP (HASP SL) 5.0 and prior
A stack buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in SafeNet HASP SL's ActiveX control.
The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation while handling parameters to a certain function. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by enticing the target user to view a malicious web page. Successful exploitation could result in the execution of arbitrary code in the context of the currently logged in user.
This protection will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.
In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.
