Vulnerability Details The vulnerability is due to an error in the way the Microsoft .NET Framework handles the loading of DLL files. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by enticing a user to open a legitimate .NET application built with ADO.NET that is located in the same network directory as a specially crafted dynamic link library (DLL) file. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to take complete control of an affected system. |
