HP Operations Agent for NonStop Server v5.0
A stack buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in the HP Operations Agents for NonStop Server.
The vulnerability is due to an insufficient boundary check. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted packet to the target server. Successful exploitation would lead to code execution in the security context of the affected service.
This protection will detect and block the transferring of malicious data to the target server.
