A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Silverlight.

The vulnerability is due to an error in the way Microsoft Silverlight frees memory while rendering specially crafted XAML glyphs. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by enticing a target user to open a web-page that contains a specially crafted Silverlight application. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an attacker to take complete control of an affected system.
This protection will detect and block attempts to transfer crafted XAML glyphs.
