A software downgrade vulnerability has been reported in Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client.
The vulnerability is due to improper validation of the vpndownloader version. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by enticing a user to visit a specially crafted web page. Successful exploitation can result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the currently logged in user.
This protection will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.
