Vulnerability Details The vulnerability is due to the way that the toStaticHTML API within Internet Explorer handles content using specific strings when sanitizing HTML. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by enticing a target user to open a specially crafted web page. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to perform cross-site scripting attacks against affected users, resulting in script execution in the target's security context. |
