The vulnerability is due to an error in the way that the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) accesses an object in memory that has been improperly initialized or has been deleted. A remote attacker may exploit this issue by sending a sequence of specially crafted RDP packets to an affected system. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
