A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in the Microsoft .NET Framework.
Apply patches from: MS12-016
The vulnerability is due to improper calculation of buffer length while processing specially crafted input. A remote attacker may exploit this issue by enticing a target user to open a specially crafted web page. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to take complete control of an affected system.
This protection will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.
