Who is Vulnerable?
Citrix Systems Access Gateway Plug-in for Windows prior to 9.3.49.5
Vulnerability Description
A heap buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Citrix Access Gateway Plug-in for Windows.
Vulnerability Details
The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of a certain field in the HTTP responses to the requests sent by the vulnerable method. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by enticing a target user to open a specially crafted web page. Successful exploitation would result in arbitrary code injection and execution.

How Can I Protect My Network?

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Citrix Access Gateway nsepacom ActiveX Control Buffer Overflow protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
