Who is Vulnerable?
Oracle Sun GlassFish Enterprise Server Prior to 3.1
An authentication bypass vulnerability has been reported in the administration console of Oracle GlassFish.
The vulnerability is due to an error while processing HTTP TRACE requests. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted TRACE request to the target. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to access restricted information.
IPS will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.
