Vulnerability Description
A heap buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in the InduSoft Thin Client.
Vulnerability Details
The vulnerability is due to lack of input validation of a certain parameter. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by enticing a target user to visit a crafted web page using Internet Explorer. Successful exploitation can result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the currently logged in user.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the InduSoft Thin Client ISSymbol ActiveX Heap Buffer Overflow protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
