Vulnerability Description
A directory traversal and file overwrite vulnerability has been reported in the HP Application Lifecycle Management ActiveX control.
Vulnerability Details
The vulnerability is due to insufficient input sanitization. Successful exploitation could result in code execution in the context of the currently logged in user.

How Can I Protect My Network?

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the HP Application Lifecycle Management ActiveX Control Arbitrary File Overwrite protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
