Vulnerability Description
A directory traversal vulnerability has been reported in Oracle Business Transaction Management Server.
Vulnerability Details
The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user input while processing crafted SOAP requests sent to the affected service. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted SOAP request to the target service. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to overwrite arbitrary files on the target machine.

How Can I Protect My Network?

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Oracle Business Transaction Management Arbitrary File Creation protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
