Vulnerability Description
A stack buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Novell ZENworks Configuration Management.
Vulnerability Details
The vulnerability is due to a stack buffer overflow in the PreBoot service when processing certain requests. A remote attacker may exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted request to an affected server. Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target server.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Novell ZENworks Configuration Management PreBoot Service Buffer Overflow protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
