Who is Vulnerable?	SCADA IGSS Data Server (IGSSdataServer.exe) 9.00.00.11063
Vulnerability Description	A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in SCADA IGSS Data Server (IGSSdataServer.exe).
Vulnerability Details	The vulnerability is caused due to improper bounds checking by IGSSdataServer.exe. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted packet to the target. Successful exploitation would cause the target to crash, resulting in a denial of service condition.

Protection Overview

This signature will detect and block specially crafted requests sent to the target.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

Security Gateway R75 / R71 / R70

In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the 7-Technologies IGSS 9 IGSSdataServer.exe Denial of Service protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
Install policy on all modules.
