| Vulnerability Description A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in RealNetworks Helix Server. |

Vulnerability Details The vulnerability is due to a boundary error while parsing specially crafted RN5 authentication data. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted RTSP request to the target Helix server. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target server, in the security context of the logged-on user. |
