Who is Vulnerable?
Apple Computer QuickTime prior to 7.7.2
A memory corruption vulnerability has been reported in Apple QuickTime.
The vulnerability is due to an error in the way Apple QuickTime processes specially crafted PICT files. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by enticing a target user to open a specially crafted PICT file. Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target.
This protection will detect and block the transferring of specially crafted PICT files.

- In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Apple QuickTime PICT File Processing Memory Corruption protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
