Who is Vulnerable?
D-Link Systems DIR-605L Firmware version 1.13 and prior
A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in D-Link DIR-605L routers.
The vulnerability is due to failure to check the size of certain parameters in POST requests. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a malicious POST request to the vulnerable router. Successful exploitation would allow the attacker to take complete control of the target.
This protection will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.
