A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Internet Explorer.
The vulnerability is due to an error in the way Internet Explorer accesses an object in memory that has been deleted or has not been properly allocated. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by enticing users to open a specially crafted web page. Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target.
This protection will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.
In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

How Can I Protect My Network?
- In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Internet Explorer Heap Spray Memory Corruption protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
