Vulnerability Description
A directory traversal vulnerability has been reported in ManageEngine DeviceExpert 5.6.
Vulnerability Details
The vulnerability is caused due to insufficient validation of a FileName request parameter. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted request to the targeted server. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker unauthorized access to the target ManageEngine DeviceExpert server.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the ManageEngine DeviceExpert Directory Traversal protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
