Vulnerability Description
A stack buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in dhcpcd.
Vulnerability Details
The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of a packet's size by a DHCP client. A remote attacker could exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted packet to the target host. Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to inject arbitrary code into the target DHCP Client.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Dhcpcd Packet Size Stack Buffer Overflow protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
