Vulnerability Details The vulnerability is due to an error in the way the Authenticode Signature Verification function validates the file digest of a specially crafted PE file. A remote attacker may exploit this issue by enticing a user to run or install a specially crafted, signed PE file. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to take complete control of an affected system. |
