A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft .Net Framework.
Apply patches from: MS13-082
The vulnerability is caused when Microsoft .Net Framework does not properly handle objects in memory while parsing specially crafted OTF files. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by enticing a user to open a specially crafted file with an affected version of Microsoft .NET Framework. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to take complete control of the target system.
This protection will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.
