A memory corruption vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Access.
Apply patches from: MS13-074
The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of the dataSize value. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by enticing a victim to open a specially crafted ACCDB (.accdb) file with a vulnerable version of the software. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability would allow for arbitrary code injection and execution with the privileges of the currently logged on user.
This protection will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.
