Who is Vulnerable?
BACnet OPC Client Version 1.0.24 and prior.
A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in SCADA Engine's BACnet OPC Client.
The vulnerability is due to a boundary check error. A remote attacker may exploit this issue by enticing victims to open a specially crafted file with the affected product. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system.
This protection will detect and block the transferring of specially crafted files to the target.
