A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Adobe Acrobat and Reader.
The vulnerability is due to a specific flaw that exists when the application parses a PDF file containing a malformed CLOD Progressive Mesh Continuation Resolution Update. Successful exploitation allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader.
This protection will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.
