|Who is Vulnerable?|| Apple QuickTime prior to 7.7.3 |
|Vulnerability Description||A use-after-free vulnerability has been reported in Apple QuickTime's ActiveX control.|
|Vulnerability Details||The vulnerability is due to an error while handling a certain method. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by enticing a target user to open a specially crafted web page using Internet Explorer. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution in the security context of the logged in user.|

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.
- In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Apple QuickTime ActiveX Control Clear Method Use After Free protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
- Install policy on all modules.
