Adobe Reader and Acrobat 9.x before 9.5.3
Adobe Reader and Acrobat 10.x before 10.1.5
Adobe Reader and Acrobat 11.x before 11.0.1
A stack buffer overflow exists in Adobe Reader.
Apply patches from: APSB13-02
The vulnerability is due to an error when parsing a specially crafted PDF file. Successful exploitation would cause the application to crash, resulting in a denial of service condition.
This protection will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.
In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.
