A stack buffer overflow exists in Adobe Reader.

Vulnerability Details
The vulnerability is due to an error when parsing a specially crafted PDF file. Successful exploitation would cause the application to crash, resulting in a denial of service condition.

How Can I Protect My Network?

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Adobe Reader Stack Exhaustion Code Execution (APSB13-02) protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.
