Who is Vulnerable?
WellinTech KingView 6.52 and 6.53
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in WellinTech KingView ActiveX control.
The vulnerability is due to failure to perform adequate boundary checks on user-supplied input. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a long second argument to the affected method.
This protection will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.
