Who is Vulnerable?
Egg Hunting is a staged shellcode technique.
A remote attacker can use Egg Hunting to cause a stack-based overflow on the target. Successful implementation will allow attackers to execute shellcode on a remote machine.
This protection will detect and block attempts to implement the Egg Hunting technique.
In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

How Can I Protect My Network?
